Troublesome Physicians – Challenges, Success Stories and Lessons Learned
The evaluation and varied methods of management of physicians and physician extenders who exhibit troublesome behavior presents unique, and at times, daunting challenges. During this program, we will explore the impact that behavioral problems may have on patient safety, staff retention, and the cohesiveness of a medical staff. Methods to identify, support, and rehabilitate medical staff members who are struggling will be reviewed, along with a review of external resources that are available to assist with this challenging issue.
